Just to show that people do dance to the band.

Wedding in Tatton was wonderful, but exhausting. Probably the keenest dancers at a wedding I have ever seen

Well.Chorlton was its usual chaotic but brilliant event. Excellent beer, amazing dancers and Johns and Emma really rocking.

Starting to build excitement for the Green Chorlton Ceilidh. A ceilidh in a church with an organic ale and cider bar. And hopefully nice Mr. Watson will be driving.

Superb gig on Saturday for semi retirement of the merry box player Paul Woods. Three callers at one ceilidh, and I had the honour of starting and finishing. Brian

After playing away with one abroad gig at the Tegeingl folk festival, Brian is looking forward to a proper gig with Midge Bites. Tegeingl was fun, although having to go out into the field to get dancers was a bit worrying. Once they came into the marquee it buzzed, and the obligatory drunk set and childrens set (guess which could dance?) plus half a dozen other sets had a fun time, as did Brian.

Chorlton Big Green

It hasn't really taken me a week to recover, but it nearly did. What a night. A zealous doorkeeper made it quite a slow start, but once it got going it was amazing. There were so many dancers it was imposssible to do anything too complex, so we just did hooligan dances while the band really rocked. It was exhausting, and exhilarating.
